From the makers of the Ratchet Rake... introducing the all new Rip and Dig!
From the makers of Ratchet Rake, this new, multi-purpose FEL attachment can accomplish a wide variety of tasks on your property. The Rip and Dig suspends over 4 inches beneath the bottom of the loader bucket.
This unique design enables the operator to pick up rocks and logs or remove
patches of sod much easier. The claw accessory loosens up hard soil and removes
tree roots up to 2 inches in diameter and rotten tree stumps. The Rip and Dig
can also dig shallow trenches up to a depth of 12"-24" deep (depending on the
size of the machine and the hardness of the soil).
Now available directly on TractorByNet.com with all the quality you've come to expect from Ratchet Rake, LLC.

Functions:
|
| | Trenching Shovel
-Fits all loader buckets (on machines up to 60 hp). -Installs in 90 seconds. -Digs up to 24 inches deep. -Alloy teeth provide added durability and enable the unit to penetrate into extremely hard ground. |
| Sod Shovel
-Unlike backhoes, the Rip and Dig is capable of neatly removing sod so it can be replanted later. -Design enables the machine to remove sections of material narrower than its loader bucket. This eliminates the need for unnecessary backfilling and reseeding after many landscaping and hardscaping projects.
|
| Ripper
-Rippers are commonly used on bulldozers to loosen up rocky or frozen ground. -Use as a subsoiler to improve drainage in low lying areas. -Create narrow ditches for silt fence installation.
|
| Log Skidder
-Skidding logs out in front of the loader bucket greatly increases maneuverability and also improves operator visibility. -Lifting logs to wrap chokers on uneven terrain is made easier because the Rip and Dig is suspended well below the bottom of the loader bucket.
|
| Root and Stump Claw
-Attaching the claw accessory to the bottom of the unit facing toward the machine increases its uplifting force which aids in pulling up roots, stumps, and other imbedded material. -Can also be used for the demolition of wood framed structures. -Dedicated claw attachments are commonly used on backhoes to perform similar tasks.

Message From the Manufacturer:Drawing from my experience with the Ratchet Rake, I developed a new multi
purpose attachment that is capable of accomplishing many common tasks that the
rake implement isn't suited for. Our product video above demonstrates the Rip
and Dig on a large (50+ hp, 5500 lb) machine to show its full capabilities.
Obviously, smaller machines will not be able to duplicate all of these results
especially when trenching in hard ground. However, the ripping, sod removal,
and rock & log hauling features of the Rip and Dig can be utilized with
virtually any size machine. - Bradley Kostyak, Ratchet Rake, LLC
